Due several members retiring or moving from the area, we are desperately looking for volunteers who could give up some spare time to help out.

Most of the work can be done in your own time in your own home, and there are 4 meetings in the evening each year, which you would be invited to attend. They are held locally at the Chilvers Coton Heritage Centre.

Some sections desperately need help with correspondance and other paper work (e.g. filling in names on certificates).  This is mainly during the months of March/ April or April/ May. Please telephone 07816953390 for more details.

When we have the competitions and presentations in April/May/June we also need people to be on the door, registering entrants, selling programmes etc. We operate a rota system and you can volunteer for any amount of time from ½ a day up to a whole week, to suit you.

  • To comply with Child Protection procedures the Official Nuneaton Festival of Arts application form MUST be completed and signed
  • Own Choice titles and composers must be given on the Entry Form and strictly adhered to. Competitors failing to give the information, or offering a different piece on the day, will be adjudicated but not marked. The Festival is under a legal obligation to supply to the Performing Right Society details of all items performed at the Festival, and the co-operation of teachers and competitors in sending information at the correct time would be very much appreciated.
  • Music must be made available for the use of the Adjudicator.
  • The timing of classes will be arranged to suit the section as a whole and not to accommodate individual performers.
  • Please, in your own interests, also refer to the general rules.
  • The Music Publishers’ Association Code of Practice on Photocopying Copyright Works makes the following concession for copying own choice pieces from volumes only for the use of the Adjudicator at a festival, provided that the entrant or participant has already purchased his/her own copy and that the copy made is retained and destroyed by the Administrator of the festival immediately after the event. This permission specifically does not apply to set works.
